Before we get into dentistry, Jo has a passion for dogs and has a working Labrador, Bella and a show Labrador, Harvey. Gundog training is what Jo loves as down time from working hard for her practices.
As Oracle's Managing Consultant, she has 40 years' experience in the dental profession. Having successfully performed a number of roles within the practice, she has acquired a large amount of expertise in the dental field. She has a proven track record in Dental Practices over the years including her role as CQC Registered Manager and achieving Notable Practice from a CQC inspector. As a result of her vast experience, Jo saw the need for assisting clinicians in giving their businesses a fresh perspective on CQC Compliance and Procedures. Having successfully helped practices through more than 30 inspections over the years has placed Jo in the perfect position to be your go to for compliance.
She has a huge amount of experience in teaching and training, having been involved for over 25 years in developing the dental team and writing various articles for several national Dental Magazines.
Jo has an ongoing commitment to dentistry with her experience as a former CQC bank inspector and currently an expert witness at the GDC for Fitness to Practice cases, she has also gained further knowledge in:

Mock CQC Inspection
Wondering how you will fare if you get the email or phone call from CQC? Our CQC compliance check, or mock inspection, offers you the benefit of our highly experienced consultants to visit your practice for an unbiased look at how you are doing. 2 Consultants will look at your practice in much the same way that CQC inspectors do. One will check the surgeries, medical emergency kit, HR files etc while the other will look at policies, equipment servicing, go through questions on the day, fire, legionella etc. We will then feedback our findings to you at the end of the day.
We will provide written feedback and a report for you to work from.
